Pray. Plan. Proceed.

In a world that constantly tells us to move faster, do more, and make things happen, it's easy to get caught up in rushing ahead without seeking God's direction. Many people plan first, proceed second, and pray only when things go wrong. But God's order is different.

The Kingdom approach is simple:

Pray. Plan. Proceed.

Pray First

Prayer is not a last resort; it is our first response.

Prayer aligns our hearts with God's will. It helps us discern whether an opportunity is truly from God or simply something we desire. When we pray, we invite God into the process rather than asking Him to bless a decision we've already made.

Philippians 4:6 reminds us:

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."

Prayer creates clarity. It calms fear. It positions us to hear God's voice above the noise of our emotions and the opinions of others.

Then Plan

Prayer does not eliminate the need for planning.

God is a God of order. Throughout Scripture, we see examples of preparation, strategy, and wise stewardship. Noah had to build the ark. Nehemiah had to organize the rebuilding of the wall. Jesus prepared His disciples before sending them out.

Prayer gives direction, but planning creates structure.

Ask yourself:

• What has God instructed me to do?

• What resources do I need?

• What steps should I take?

• What obstacles might arise?

• How can I steward this opportunity well?

  
  

Planning is not a lack of faith. Planning is faith in action.

Proverbs 16:3 says:

"Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established."

When we surrender our plans to God, He helps us build on a firm foundation.

Then Proceed

At some point, faith requires movement.

Many people become trapped in endless prayer or perpetual planning. They wait for perfect conditions, perfect timing, or complete certainty before taking action.

Yet God often reveals the next step only after we move.

• Proceeding requires courage.

• Proceeding requires trust.

• Proceeding requires believing that God will guide you as you go.

  
  

Joshua had to step into the Jordan before the waters parted. Peter had to step out of the boat before he could walk on water.

Faith is not standing still. Faith is moving forward in obedience.

The Power of the Process

When you pray, you seek God's heart.

When you plan, you prepare wisely.

When you proceed, you walk by faith.

This simple process can transform your decision-making, your ministry, your business, your family, and your personal life.

Before your next move, remember:
